Clarity, Consistency, and Confidence

Move from “guessing” to “knowing” refine your timing, clarify your criteria, and turn hoof care into a conversation.

You’ve trained a lot with R+, but for some reason, you keep hitting a plateau with hoof care. Your horse finds it hella difficult or boring, it seems. You don’t understand, and you don’t know how to continue.

Join the 8-week Cooperative Hoof Care Group Program

and let’s get you a “hoof care breakthrough”, together.

Students working with their horses on relaxed hoof lifts and positioning during a practical group workshop.

As a thoughtful trainer, you aren’t looking for shortcuts. You’ve likely already read the books and watched the videos. You know what you want: a safe and comfortable hoof care or trimming session for you AND your horse.

But practicing hoof care alone in your paddock or stable can feel lonely.

Tug-o-war

You think you’re clicking at the right moment, but your horse pulls his leg away anyway.

You seem stuck

You made great initial progress with duration, but training doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

Juggling everything

Holding his feet up and reinforcing at the same time seems impossible when you’re by yourself.

You don’t need more general theory. You need specific feedback.

8 Weeks to Clarity, Consistency, and Confidence.

In this program, we stop guessing. We break down the complex chain of “Hoof Care” into small, logical, and trainable steps.

We combine the power of community learning (seeing others solve puzzles) with expert feedback (knowing exactly what to tweak in your own sessions).

What makes this different?

We will be tackling ALL the Hoof Care aspects, together. Both the behavioural aspect as well as ethical and emotional side of training.

Some things work one day and not the next day, the horse will work with you, but not with trimmer. Or, he’s fine with his fronts, but not with his hinds (even without physical issues).

What if your horse is was trigger stacking? What if he’s uncomfortable or in pain? What if I’ve been doing it all wrong?

Monique: “I was working with a hoof boss and had put Destiny’s tail in a knot to prevent any hairs getting tangled up in the device. But as I want to continue, she wants to swish her tail to chase away flies, and pummels herself with the knotted tail.

Being the sensitive horse that she is, the grinder on her foot and the punch to the side were way too much and she freaked out.”

There’s SO much that goes into hoof care. It makes sense that you haven’t been able to do it all perfectly. This program will help you finally get some momentum and reach the next levels.

From a horse that’s always pulling back their feet

to a horse that’s balanced, motivated an cooperative.

From a horse that’s tense or unpredictable

to a horse that gets better with every trim.

From a trainer that feels stressed and guilty

to a person who overflows with pride during trims.

How we work together

Weekly Live Calls

Video Feedback
You submit your training clips. I analyze them – pausing, rewinding and showing you exactly where the magic (or the confusion) happens.

“That ongoing support makes a big difference and helps me keep improving step by step.”

“I really value that your support goes beyond just “doing the training.” You help me understand the bigger picture behind behavior, emotions, and safety, which makes the work feel calmer and clearer. I’m still regularly impressed by how clearly and simply you explain things. And with humor too, which really helps. It makes learning feel light and accessible.

I also appreciate how professional everything is set up: the Zoom sessions, being able to rewatch them, and the possibility to send in lots of video for feedback. That ongoing support makes a big difference and helps me keep improving step by step.”

Who will you be learning from?

Horses and humans practicing positive reinforcement hoof care in a structured group program setting.

I’m Janneke. If you feel like you might “not be the right person” for your horse right now, I want you to know: I have been there. My greatest teacher was a horse named Deejay. He was smart, sensitive, and resistant to traditional pressure. He taught me that a genuine bond isn’t about control; it’s about giving them a voice. He took me from feeling helpless to building a powerful, equal partnership.

Now, my mission is to help you find that same partnership, without the toxic positivity or “perfect instagram” vibes. I believe in an honest, realistic approach. I balance taking the feelings of the horse seriously with enough humor, rest, and optimism to keep us humans going.

In this group, I bring my experience as a teacher other trainers and instructors. I know how to break down complex skills so you don’t just “get it” intellectually, but can actually do it physically. I hear “I wish I’d thought of that!” pretty much every day.

Yet I’m not here to be your “guru.” I’m here to share the tools that turned my struggle into a lifestyle of mutual respect.

Is the group program for you?

Join us if:

  • You value understanding the process more than just getting a quick result.
  • You have plenty of R+ experience, but feel stuck on the specifics of hoof care.
  • You see value in watching other horses and owners work through similar struggles.
  • You want accountability: You know you’ll actually do the training if you have a group cheering you on.

This is not for you if:

  • You want a “done-for-you” service where someone else fixes the horse.
  • You are looking for traditional pressure/release methods.
  • You aren’t willing to film short clips of your training sessions.

From “hoping it works” to “knowing it works.”

By the end of these 8 weeks, the fog will have lifted.

Change 1: Clarity
You’ll have broken through the plateau you were stuck at. You will know exactly when to click and why.

Change 2: Consistency
The anxiety (yours and your horse’s) will be replaced by a structured routine that is easy to implement.

Change 3: Confidence
Hoof care will have stopped being an event you dread and become you and your horse’s favourite game. With plenty of duration, finally!

What you’ll be saying “Yes!” to
For €450 you’ll find the missing piece of the puzzle and you’ll finally understand why your training wasn’t working until now. That includes all sessions, materials, guidance throughout the process, and of course new crucial skills and wonderfully sustainable results.

Hoof care doesn’t have to be a daily struggle and hoof trims shouldn’t be a 6-weekly nightmare. They can be the place where your bond becomes most visible. ❤︎
